What is it: Form T-3 is used for applications for qualifications of indentures pursuant to section 307(a) of the Trust Indenture Act of 1939. A trust indenture is an agreement between the bond issuer and a trustee representing the interests of the bondholder. The agreement helps to define the rights, privileges, and responsibilities that each party agree from the date of bond purchase to maturity.
